SCHOOL ZONE FINE FISSURED AIRASSURE

FINE FISSURED finish panels with factory-gasketed edges contribute to cleaner, healthier, safer, indoor air quality for a variety of spaces. Meets USDA/FSIS and ANSI S12.60 guidelines.

Key Features & Performance

  • Factory-gasketed edges reduce air leakage through the ceiling plane in a space up to 4X compared to panels without AIRASSURE performance
  • AIRASSURE ceilings enable easy conversion to negative or positive pressure-controlled spaces (without hold-down clips)
  • Get total noise control and floor plan versatility with TOTAL ACOUSTICS ceiling panels: NRC + CAC = TOTAL ACOUSTICS Performance
  • Excellent sound blocking: SCHOOL ZONE FINE FISSURED AIRASSURE panels with TOTAL ACOUSTICS performance provide up to 45 CAC
  • CLEANASSURE family of products – includes disinfectable panels, suspension systems, and trim
  • SCHOOL ZONE FINE FISSURED AIRASSURE panels are part of the SUSTAIN portfolio, and meet the most stringent industry sustainability compliance standards today
  • Anti-Mold/Mildew - Ceiling tiles with BIOBLOCK performance resist the growth of mold and mildew on the ceiling tile surface
  • Exceeds ANSI S12.60 Classroom Acoustic requirements
  • Meets USDA/FSIS guidelines
  • Panels: 30-Year Limited System Warranty against visible sag, mold, and mildew and bacterial growth

Sound Absorption (NRC)

A measure for rating the overall sound absorption of a material when used in an enclosed architectural space where sound is reflected at many angles of incidence. A ceiling system with an NRC < 0.50 is low performance, an NRC > 0.70 is high performance.

0.70
Sound Blocking (CAC)

A measure for rating the performance of a ceiling system as a barrier to airborne sound transmission through a common plenum between adjacent closed spaces. A ceiling system with a CAC < 25 is considered low performance, whereas one with CAC of 35 or higher is high performance.

Up to 45
Articulation Class (AC)

Product has AC (Articulation Class) 170 or greater.

Light
Light Reflectance

A high light reflective ceiling – LR 0.83 or greater, per ASTM E1477-98 as referred to in ASTM E1264-98 – makes lighting systems, especially indirect lighting, more effective while further reducing energy costs and consumption. LR values apply to White panels only.

Anti-Microbial
Mold/Mildew Resistance

Ceiling panels with BIOBLOCK performance resist the growth of mold and mildew on the panel surface.
Ceiling panels with BIOBLOCK Plus performance resist the growth of odor and stain-producing bacteria as well as mold and mildew on the ceiling panel surface.

BIOBLOCK
Humidity
Sag/Humidity Resistance

Ceiling panels maintain humidity and sag resistance.
