Whether building or renovating an existing space, an Armstrong METALLAIRE ceiling, wall, or backsplash will be the final detail that makes your room uniquely memorable. Make a bold and contemporary design statement, or create a quiet ambiance with subtle and sophisticated patterns.
METALLAIRE ceilings can be installed 2 ways - surface mount (24" x 48" tiles) or drop (24" x 24" tiles) - and come in a variety of classic finishes and 19th century patterns. They are made from real metal, coated to protect from rust, and have sag, mold, and mildew resistance. Check out the options below.
METALLAIRE surface mount ceilings (24" x 48") can also be installed as an accent wall for an old-world or modern effect. They may also be cut and be used as a backsplash, though we recommend making sure that spills and splashes are cleaned and dried promptly to avoid rusting. For a backsplash you don't have to worry about, METALLAIRE backsplashes made from stainless steel are the answer. They are cut to fit the area between cabinets and counters in most standard kitchens and the high-quality stainless steel makes sure they hold up to whatever life throws at them. A Metallaire ceiling or wall isn't complete without the proper installation materials and accessories. Coordinating filler panels are the recommended ceiling border option and METALLAIRE Cornices are a trim detail that adds the finishing touch. All cornices and filler panels come in the same white, chrome, brass, copper, and lacquered steel finishes as the ceiling panels.
For surface mount options and backsplashes, you'll need coordinating cone head nails and for Metallaire drop ceilings we recommend a coordinating grid kit that installs 64 sq. ft. of ceiling at a time and hold down clips that will keep the panels in place in the grid.
