Key Features & Performance
- Thick, bold baffles with matching integrated lighting options come in new colors and wood looks that coordinate with the rest of the Armstrong portfolio
- Standard nominal 10' long baffle option allows for better linear runs, minimizing seams in large installations
- Mix standard lengths and depths for dynamic visuals
- Soft visual, quieter acoustics
- Sound absorption up to 1.15 NRC dependent on baffle depth and spacing
- Pair with acoustical ceiling panels to get total noise control and design flexibility with Total Acoustics® ceiling panels: NRC + CAC = Total Acoustics
- Only 2 adjustable 1/4-20 threaded connectors per baffle needed for installation versatility including cable-to-deck independent suspension, threaded rod, and direct to Prelude XL 15/16" grid
- Independent suspension now allows for sloped installations
- Great retrofit solution
- Division 09 Class A Interior Finish per NFPA 286 testing
- Made from 60% pre-consumer recycled PET fibers
- Part of the Sustain® portfolio, and meets the most stringent industry sustainability compliance standards today
- CleanAssure™ family of products – includes disinfectable panels, suspension systems, and trim
A measure for rating the overall sound absorption of a material when used in an enclosed architectural space where sound is reflected at many angles of incidence. A ceiling system with an NRC < 0.50 is low performance, an NRC > 0.70 is high performance.
A high light reflective ceiling – LR 0.83 or greater, per ASTM E1477-98 as referred to in ASTM E1264-98 – makes lighting systems, especially indirect lighting, more effective while further reducing energy costs and consumption. LR values apply to White panels only.
Ceiling panels with BIOBLOCK performance resist the growth of mold and mildew on the panel surface.
Ceiling panels with BIOBLOCK Plus performance resist the growth of odor and stain-producing bacteria as well as mold and mildew on the ceiling panel surface.
Ceiling panels maintain humidity and sag resistance.
Surface impact based on the Striking Ball Impact Test, modified ASTM D1037 procedure.
Excellent resistance to surface scratching, scuffing or chipping as per Hess Rake Test.
May be sprayed following CDC recommendations using EPA disinfectant cleaners per Armstrong Cleaning & Disinfecting Guidelines
