Security and Behavioral Health Ceiling Solutions
Armstrong has always been dedicated to creating spaces where safety and well-being are top priorities. As healthcare environments evolve, we're committed to providing the best products and solutions to keep patients safe and focused on their health.
Specialty ceiling systems, such as MetalWorks™ Torsion Spring for Behavioral Health and MetalWorks™ SecureLock™ Plus, are designed with these values in mind. This makes them appropriate for use, not only for behavioral and mental health facilities, but in areas with potential security concerns as well.
MetalWorks™ Torsion Spring for Behavioral Health and MetalWorks™ SecureLock™ Plus systems have been tested and approved by the standards set by the New York State Office of Mental Health (NYS-OMH) Patient Safety Standards, Materials and Systems Guidelines.
Armstrong also offers SecureLock™ as a medium security-focused, suspended metal ceiling for projects that need to deter panel removal, limit plenum access, and reduce opportunities for contraband concealment while maintaining strong acoustical and durability performance. SecureLock is a great solution if NYS-OMH Patient Safety Standards are not required.

MetalWorks™ Security and Behavioral Health Ceiling Solutions
Armstrong provides three metal ceiling systems that are designed to help limit unauthorized plenum access and contraband concealment. The right selection depends primarily on the required security level, whether routine plenum access is needed, and whether the project must meet behavioral health patient safety criteria.
