Tectum Ceiling & Wall Panels

The International Living Future Institute has awarded TECTUM Ceiling and Wall Panels with the Living Product Challenge Imperative Certification.

TECTUM ceiling and wall panels are the first and only acoustical solution to achieve this certification. Our TECTUM family of products, made of natural fibers from the Wisconsin Aspen, one of the most sustainably harvested trees, is another important way we are contributing a sustainable future.

The Living Product Challenge is organized into seven performance areas, which include four “Core Imperatives”: Transparent Material Health, Red List Chemicals, Responsible Industry, and Inspiration + Education.

TECTUM ceiling and wall panels are Rainforest Alliance Certified™ to Forest Stewardship Council® standards and are part of the Armstrong Ceilings SUSTAIN portfolio, meeting the most stringent sustainability standards in the industry, including LEED v4, the Living Building Challenge℠, and the WELL Building Standard™. Armstrong Ceiling and Wall Systems also continues a commitment to the conservation of the fibers used in TECTUM by supporting the National Forest Foundation and efforts to preserve Aspen forests for years to come.
