Cover popcorn, damaged drywall, and plaster ceilings with wood look ceiling planks - no scraping or sanding required! Tongue and groove ceiling planks are typically attached to an existing ceiling. WOODHAVEN ceilings can also be installed over a suspended grid system.

WoodHaven Ceiling Plank Installation

These MDF (medium density fiber board) tongue and groove planks are installed over furring strips with what comes in the box, with Easy Up tracks and clips, or with Easy Up clips over an existing 15/16” grid.

Three Installation Options

1) Use clips and screws included in the package

Attach planks directly to furring strips over existing joists using the clips and screws included in every plank carton.

 

2) EASY UP tracks and clips

  1. Install EASY UP tracks
  2. Snap on EASY UP clips
  3. Position planks and slide clips to secure for a flawless installation

3) Retrofit: EASY UP clips on an existing 15/16" ceiling grid

  1. Remove existing ceiling panels
  2. Snap on EASY UP clips (sold separately)
  3. Position planks, slide and secure clips

COUNTRY CLASSIC Plank Installation

This mineral fiber, tongue and groove ceiling is installed with EASY UP tracks and clips, or adhesive.

Two Installation Options

1) EASY UP tracks and clips

  1. Attach metal tracks to ceiling joists or existing ceiling
  2. Snap on clips
  3. Position planks and slide clips to secure

2) Adhesive

To install planks directly to existing drywall or plaster ceilings with adhesive, use a recommended tile adhesive, such as Henry #237 AcoustiGum Acoustical Ceiling Tile Adhesive. Follow the adhesive manufacturer's instructions for application and usage. Keep in mind that when using this installation method, the drywall or plaster ceiling must be smooth and even.
