Armstrong World Industries Recognized for Product Innovation
Several Armstrong World Industries (AWI) products have recently been recognized with innovation awards, underscoring the company’s continued commitment to advancing industry standards and delivering forward-thinking solutions.
Most recently, WOODWORKS MicroPerforated Panels has been selected as a winner of four 2025 product awards including: i+s Product Innovation Award, Architectural Record Products of the Year Award, Architectural Products Product Innovation Award, and BUILDINGS Product Innovation Award. Launched in Spring 2025, WOODWORKS Vector and WOODWORKS Tegular MicroPerforated panels combine the beauty of natural wood with “barely there” perforations that improve acoustic performance without compromising the visual aesthetic.
Also earning a 2025 top building product recognition from Building Design + Construction is METALWORKS Torsion Spring for Behavioral Health. This new ceiling system was designed to meet the safety and wellness standards of behavioral and mental health facilities. Earlier this year, it was tested and accepted by the New York State Office of Mental Health (NYS-OMH) Patient Standards, Material and Systems Guidelines.
