
This course examines objectives of LEED v4 and 4.1 for BD&C and ID&C and how it is driving innovation and market transformation. An expert explains LEED V4 and 4.1 for Material and Resources (MR) and Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) credits specific to the ceiling category. The course includes a discussion on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in LEED v4 BD&C with the Whole Building Impact Reduction credit, Option 4, as well as the MR credit Building Product Disclosure and Optimization - Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). The course also presents strategies within Interior Life Cycle Impact Reduction-Option 3:Design for Flexibility credit. The course aims to provide participants an understanding of transparency credits for Materials Ingredients in LEED v4 & 4.1, BD+C and ID&C. It also provides a framework to understand IEQ credits in LEED v4 & 4.1 for BD&C and ID&C.
