Create a rustic retreat in your bathroom with a decorating style that brings nature inside. For a rustic bathroom ceiling design, choose wood-look ceiling planks in weathered or pine. For a more spacious feel, light ash or maple are beautiful choices.
If cottage style is more your design preference, try a white plank or beadboard ceiling. Beadboard, with its narrow planks and telltale groove, adds charm and a textural quality to any bathroom ceiling. White planks freshen a space while adding visual interest above.
Note that planks should only be installed in half baths without showers/tubs. The excessive moisture caused by water and steam can cause the planks to warp.
Bathroom Walls and Backsplashes
For a bathroom that brings your design style to all four corners of the room, install painted wood look ceiling planks on the wall as wainscoting or a stainless steel metal backsplash behind the sink.
IMPORTANT: Ceiling and wall systems cannot be used in exterior applications, or in interior locations where standing water is present due to high humidity, or where moisture will come in direct contact with the ceiling or wall- think showers and tubs. Make sure to follow installation and warranty guidelines.
