PLANT GRANTS

Plant managers may apply for grants to benefit 501(c)(3) organizations in their communities via the form below. Contact the foundation with questions.

Employee Choice Gift Match

The Armstrong World Industries Foundation is transitioning its employee match program, called Employee Choice, to broaden employee participation and its overall impact in communities where AWI operates.
Effective 2017, the foundation is conducting its Employee Choice program in Lancaster County in concert with the Lancaster County Community Foundation's 24-hour giving event, Extraordinary Give, held in November of each year. More than 400 Lancaster County non-profits participate in Extraordinary Give, and in 2016 the effort raised over $7.1 million. Details about how employees can participate will be communicated well in advance of Extraordinary Give in November 2017.
For employees who give to organizations outside of Lancaster County, please follow the prompts below to request your gift match. Print the form and mail it, or save the form electronically and email it, along with your donation, to the charitable organization. The form asks the organization to visit this web site and complete a form that includes certifying the following documentation is current:
Please note the foundation budgets a set dollar amount for the Employee Choice Gift Matching Program. Once the dollars have been exhausted for the calendar year, no further requests will be paid for that calendar year. The program may be changed, suspended, or terminated at any time without notice and administration, interpretations, and applications of the provisions of the program shall be final.
