The Higher Education Gift-Matching Program is to encourage support of higher education by matching contributions of cash or securities made to any eligible college, university, or foundation.

Contributor - All regular full-time and regular part-time U.S. employees and members of the Board of Directors of Armstrong World Industries are eligible to participate in this program./b>

Recipient - Colleges or universities that are four-year, degree-granting institutions located within the United States or its possessions, listed in the most annual issue of the Education Directory, Colleges and Universities of the U.S Department of Education and are organizations that are tax exempt under section 501 (c)(3) and classified as public charities described in section 509 (a) (1), (2) or (3) or are state colleges or universities.

Recipient (Foundations) - Foundation affiliated with any eligible college or university as described above and certified as an organization that will transmit contributions to, or use the same for the benefit of, such college or university.

Only charitable contributions will be matched. Payments for tuition, dues to alumni groups, memberships, subscriptions, or anything else for which the contributor receives any goods or services are not eligible. Gifts must be actual payments of cash or marketable securities (stocks or bonds), not pledges or in-kind contributions.

The minimum gift that will be matched is $50. The maximum amount for each contributor to a single institution, from single or multiple gifts, is $5,000 per calendar year. The maximum amount for each contributor to multiple institutions is $10,000 per calendar year.

The program may be changed, suspended, or terminated at any time without notice and its administration, interpretations, and applications of the provisions of the program shall be final.
